Incredibly Addictive Paleo Brownies


In this video, I take you through the steps to making some incredibly delicious paleo brownies. They’re the perfect dessert or snack that will please even your non-paleo friends.

These will keep for up to about a week before needing to be discarded. Just make sure you store them in the fridge or alternatively you can freeze them. As with most baking they’re best enjoyed fresh.

If you’re not on a paleo diet but looking for something gluten free then these chocolate brownies are perfect. They contain absolutely no gluten so they’re perfect for anyone who is coeliac or gluten sensitive.

If you need a list of ingredients then you can find one right below.

• 1 Sweet Potato (Approx. 2-3 cups when grated)
• 2 Eggs
• ½ Cup coconut oil, melted
• 1/3 cup Honey
• 1 tsp. vanilla bean paste
• ½ cup raw cacao powder, sifted
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• ½ Cup Almond flour

Due to the baking powder I use in this recipe, these brownies are not considered to be “strict” paleo friendly. You can leave this out but you may find the brownies will not work out nearly as well. It’s only a tiny bit of rice flour (less than 5g) so nothing to really worry about.

These also contain a fair bit of honey which is recommend that you don’t eat too much of. However, if you don’t over indulge you will be fine with eating these.

The almond flour can be replaced with coconut flour instead. However, I would reduce the amount of flour down to just 2 & ½ Tbsp.

In this video, I go through the steps to making some almond coated paleo chicken nuggets. They cook to be crunchy on the outside and nice n tender on the inside.

Whilst I fry these nuggets in the video you can instead bake them if that’s what you prefer. If you decide to bake them then make sure your oven is preheated to 200°C or 395°F.

These paleo friendly chicken nuggets are also great as leftovers. You can eat them cold or you can reheat them in a microwave or oven. They’re certainly not as good as when they're freshly cooked but they still taste pretty damn good.

• 2 Chicken Breasts
• ½ cup coconut flour
• 1 Cup almond flour
• 2 eggs
• 2 tsp. paprika
• Salt & Pepper
• ½ Cup coconut oil or a paleo friendly fat (For Frying)

One thing that you’re able to do if you’re not a fan of paprika is replace it with a different spice or leave it out completely. A cayenne pepper or similar is a great way to add a bit of a bite to the nuggets.

The nuggets are fine on their own along with a paleo friendly dipping sauce such as a homemade ranch dressing or ketchup. However, if you have the time then some sweet potato fries or a simple salad goes great with these.
