Belly Warming Paleo Chorizo & Sweet Potato

In this video, I go through the steps to making an incredible paleo chorizo and sweet potato side dish. Recipe:

Even though it's better suited as a side dish you can still have this is as a delicious main meal.

One of the best things about this dish is how well the leftovers will keep. Simply store in the fridge until needed and reheat either over the stove or in the oven.

If you’re looking for something paleo friendly to go with this dish then I highly recommend looking at either some beef or chicken dishes. This side is a great replacement for your typical side of chips.

If you need a list of all the ingredients that I used in this recipe then you can find it right below.

• 1 onion, diced
• 2 chorizo sausages, sliced
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
• 1 tsp. paprika
• 2 cups chicken or beef stock
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 2 green onions, sliced (To serve)

You’re able to switch out the seasonings if you have a better idea of what would work for you. For example, some people love the flavour that a good Cajun seasoning will bring.

When it comes to chorizo most of them should be paleo friendly but it’s always best to check just in case they’re not. Any good butcher should be able to tell you otherwise look at the ingredient list on the package. (If buying them pre packaged)

If the vegetables in this dish isn’t enough then you can always add extra. Bell peppers, greens, and even broccoli would work well in this dish.

I really do hope that this paleo chorizo and sweet potato dish works out to be as great for you as it did for me. If you have any feedback, tips or anything else that you would like to mention then please feel free to leave a comment below or over at
